I'm prepping tonight's dinner (Eggplant Lasagna - I'll post about it if it turns out) and I realized it's taking me a lot longer to get everything done than the recipe says.
Maybe I'm a slow chopper, slow puree-r, slow mixer. Or maybe it's the fact that I'm multitasking as I chop, puree and mix - checking Facebook, emailing, keeping a certain 16 1/2 month out of the fridge / utensil drawers / dishwasher - you know, the usual.
Regardless, this recipe with 20 minutes of so called "hands on" time is taking me a lot longer than that! That's why you'll notice I never put "hands on" or "total" time in my posts. I don't want to scare you off with my long prep times =)
(Though, I suppose if the food is good, it's worth the wait...)
