Italian Beef

This is one of my most favorite things to make - and eat. I absolutely love this recipe. I think my mom got this recipe from a (crazy) lady she used to work with, but I'm not exactly sure where crazy lady got the recipe. Regardless, I'm happy I have it now, because I could eat this stuff every day.


Italian Beef
Ingredients:
3 - 4 lb. beef roast
1 package dry onion soup mix
4 beef bullion cubes, dissolved in 3/4 C water
3 oz. cherry Coke OR 3 tbsp. brandy (I prefer the soda)
12 oz. beer (i.e. Miller Lite, Heineken, Labatt Blue - just a normal beer)

Assembly:
Ready?  This is going to be a tough one...

Mix all liquid & onion soup mix.

Place roast in crock pot, pour liquid mixture over it.

Turn on low for about 8 hours.

Shred.

Put on bun (buttered...mmmm...).

Eat.

(The potatoes in the picture are Mini Potato Gratins - I'll update with that recipe soon, because they might be the second best potatoes you'll ever have!)
